Functional Mechanism
Microwax H3241,with its reduced solubility migrates to the surface of the vulcanizates and forms there a complete protective film which remeins stable at temperatures up to about 50 °C. The formation of the film takes place at a slow rate. The protective film shows an excellent stability against dynamic stress. Microwax H3241 provides a most effective long term protection.
Processing
Flake‑grade material facilitates simpler weighing and blending operations. For optimal dispersion performance, it is advisable to introduce Microwax H3241 at the very start of the mixing process. The mixing temperature needs to be kept above the melting point of the anti‑check wax.
Dosage
For tyres 1 - 4 phr; in other rubber up to 10 phr depending on the type of compound.
Application
Suitable for tyres, conveyor belts and a full range of technical rubber goods intended for high‑temperature operating conditions. Microwax H3241 complies with test requirements under ozone‑chamber test temperatures of approximately 50 °C.
Packing
20kgs/bags
Storage stability
Shelf‑life is 3 years when stored at temperatures ≤35°C. Caking may take place under higher‑temperature conditions, yet this will not impair product performance.
FAQ
Q1:What form is Microwax H3241 supplied in, and what are its advantages?
Microwax H3241 is available in flake form. This flake design enables convenient weighing and straightforward mixing for your compounding process.
Q2:How should I add Microwax H3241 during mixing to achieve good dispersion?
To secure satisfactory dispersion effect, we recommend charging Microwax H3241 at the very beginning of the full mixing cycle. Early‑stage addition allows the wax to blend evenly into the system.
Q3:What temperature requirement should be followed for mixing Microwax H3241?
The mixing temperature must be higher than the melting point of this anti‑check wax. Sufficient temperature ensures complete melting and proper distribution within your formulation.
