Styrene-butadiene rubber 1712 is a high aromatic hydrocarbon-filled emulsion polymerized styrene-butadiene rubber. It is characterized by high adhesion and easy processing. Different from the 1502 general type, it is more suitable for scenarios requiring good adhesion. It is made from butadiene and styrene as monomers, with the addition of high aromatic hydrocarbon oil, and is refined through emulsion polymerization technology. It is in a light yellow block or granular form, with a slight aromatic smell. It has strong processing plasticity and is suitable for black rubber products such as tire treads, conveyor belts, and rubber tubes. It also balances wear resistance and processing convenience.
Product advantages
The core advantage lies in the oil-filled formula, which offers strong processing plasticity. During mixing, it is less likely to stick to the rollers or undergo scorching, resulting in smooth molding and significantly enhancing production efficiency. It has excellent adhesion, with strong bonding between rubber layers and between rubber and the reinforcing material, reducing the risk of product delamination. Its wear resistance is outstanding, enabling the extension of the service life of products such as tires and conveyor belts. It has good compatibility with natural rubber and other synthetic rubbers, allowing for flexible adjustment of performance through blending ratios. The cost is moderate, with high cost-effectiveness. It is the preferred raw material for black rubber products, featuring low heat generation and excellent low-temperature flexibility.
