Properties

Bitter taste. Specific gravity: 1.10--1.40. Easily soluble in chloroform, acetone and methanol. Soluble in benzene. Not easily soluble in water and gasoline.

The most active thiourea for the vulcanization of CR. Gives rapid vulcanization at low, medium and high temperatures. Can be used to boost EPDM sulphur vulcanization systems. Particularly suited to high-speed C.V. processes. Used in CR

These accelerators have low promoting efficiency and poor anti-burning performance. Therefore, they are rarely used for diene-based rubbers. However, in certain special cases, such as when using coumarin sulfurizers or other sulfur substances for body vulcanization, this product has the function of an activator. Thiourea-type accelerators have unique efficacy in the vulcanization of chloroprene rubber and can produce chloroprene vulcanized rubber with good properties such as tensile strength, hardness, and compression permanent deformation. Compared with NA-22, this product has faster burning and vulcanization, but better vulcanization flatness. It is easy to disperse and does not flake. When the dosage is large, it can undergo high-temperature and high-speed vulcanization, which is particularly suitable for continuous vulcanization of molded products. This product is also a promoting agent for butyl rubber and a vulcanization activator for ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber. It has antioxidant effects on natural rubber, chloroprene rubber, nitrile rubber, and styrene-butadiene rubber. It is generally used for manufacturing industrial products.
