Rubber accelerator ETU is an imidazoline type vulcanization accelerator. The pure substance is a white needle-like crystal, which is slightly soluble in cold water, easily soluble in hot water, and slightly soluble in ethanol and methanol at room temperature. It is insoluble in toluene, ether and chloroform. It has a faint ammonia odor. Due to the high tensile strength and small permanent compression deformation of the products after ethylidene thiourea curing, as well as the short curing time, it is widely used in the curing of chloroprene rubber and other rubbers.

Properties
Density is 2.00. Soluble in alcohol, lightly soluble in water.Stabilization storage .The sulfur vulcanizing accelerator ETU (NA-22) is a white or grayish-white powder. It has a bitter taste and is soluble in ethanol, but slightly soluble in water. It does not contaminate the products and is stable during storage.
Application
Has little tendency to scorch, a high degree of processing safety and enables proper vulcanization to be attained speedily at normal vulcanizing temperatures. Presents characteristics vulcanization kinetics and gives the vulcanization with excellent physical properties (high tensile strength, low compression set, large plasticity and good heat resistance).It is a special accelerator for chloroprene rubber of types CH and W, as well as chloroethanol rubber and polyacrylate rubber products.

Storage
Keep container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place. The recommended maximum storage life is 2 years when stored under normal conditions.
