Properties

Light brown powder or granules. Melting point ≥75°C. It is soluble in benzene, dichlorethane, carbon disulfide, acetone and gasoline; insoluble in water. As an antioxidant for the rubber industry, it is suitable for natural rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, chloroprene rubber, etc. It has protective effects against thermal oxidation, flex cracking and ozone aging, and can enhance the heat resistance brittleness resistance and ozone resistance of chloroprene rubber

Functions

ODPA is antioxidant for NR, SBR, NBR and CR. It has good protective character to heat, oxygen, flexing and crazing, and is efficient to rubber whether used together with carbon black. It has obvious thermal brittleness resistance in CR, and can increase its protective character to ozone aging. It is mainly used in tyres, tube tyres, cables, rubber tapes, rubber pipes, filling rings, etc. Normal dosage is 0.5-2 phr.
