Properties

Grayish-white powder(granule). No taste, no poision. Densty is 1.08--1.19. Soluble in acetone, ethyl acetate, alcohol, slightly soluble in CCI4. Insoluble in gasoline and water.

Application

Used as a secondary accelerator with thiazoles and sulphenamides in NR and SBR compounds. Exhibits better storage stability compared to thiuram and dithiocarbamates but is not so active. Accelerator DPG can be used in latex as secondary gelling agent (foam stabilizer) in the silico-flouride foam process.It is used as a promoter for natural rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, nitrile rubber, chloroprene rubber and chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber. It can also be used as a vulcanizing agent. This product can also be used in latex.

Action mode
