Property

Light yellow to light pink powder. Density:1.26-1.32g/ cm3. Melting point: over 96℃ . Insoluble in water, soluble in gasoline, easily soluble in ethanol, aether, acetone, benzene, toluene, methylene chloride, carbon tetrachloride, ethyl acetate and other organic solvent.Density: 1.20 g/cm³, Melting point: 104℃, Boiling point: 486.5℃ (760mmHg), Flash point: 248℃, Soluble in benzene and dichloromethane, insoluble in water, stable at normal temperature and pressure. Mainly used as a post-effect promoter for natural rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, styrene-butadiene-styrene rubber and isoprene rubber. It is prepared by the condensation of dicyclohexylamine with sodium salt of 2-mercaptobenzothiazole. Upstream raw materials include promoter M, dicyclohexylamine, sodium hypochlorite, etc.

Application

The product possess the best antiscorching quality of sulfenamide type accelerators. Its antiscorching quality and processingsafety in natural rubber are better than that of DIBS.Mainly used in manufacture of tires, rubber belts and shock absorber.

The rubber accelerator DCBS has the best anti-coking performance among sulfonamide type accelerators. It is one of the indispensable important raw materials for the production of radial tires, steel wire belts and thick rubber parts. It is a delayed-action accelerator for natural rubber and synthetic rubber, similar to accelerators CZ and DIBS. Especially, it has good metal adhesion and better physical and mechanical properties when used in manufacturing rubber products bonded with metals.
