Initially, the adhesive between fibers and rubber evolved from natural latex and casein to styrene-butadiene latex. After the emergence of high-strength viscose filaments, it developed into a mixture of resorcinol-formaldehyde-latex (RFL), which remains popular to this day. my country long relied on imported butadiene-butadiene latex. Successfully developed butadiene-butadiene latex production technology employs low-temperature polymerization, a mixed emulsification system, and continuous soap replenishment followed by post-processing. With industrial development, the center of butadiene-butadiene latex production shifted to Asia. The rapid development of my country's tire industry spurred strong demand for butadiene-butadiene latex, accelerating the trend towards domestic production and leading to market saturation. The National Institute of Physics and Chemistry in Japan successfully developed a new butadiene-butadiene latex synthesis process, which can reduce production costs by half. By 2026, domestic companies such as Shandong Tianshuo Rubber Co., Ltd., through technological upgrades, have increased their annual butadiene-butadiene latex production capacity from 10,000 tons to 20,500 tons.
