Properties
White or light grey powder (granule). The density is 1.29. Soluble in benzene, acetone, chloroform, CS2 partly soluble in alcohol, diethyl ether, CCI4 insoluble in water, gasoline and alkali with lower concentrations. Meeting hot water becomes dimethyl ammonium and CS2. Be sensitive to skin and peogaster.

Uses
Used as supervulcanization accelerators in the rubber industry, often combined with thiazole accelerators, and can also be used with other accelerators as accelerators for continuous rubber materials. Because free sulfur is slowly decomposed above 100 °C, it can be used as a vulcanizing agent. The aging resistance and heat resistance of the product are excellent. Suitable for natural glue, synthetic glue. It is mainly used in the manufacture of tires, inner tubes, rubber shoes, cables and other industrial products. It is used as a fungicide and insecticide in agriculture, and can also be used as a lubricant additive.

Storage
Keep container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place. Awaiding exposure of the packaged product to direct sunlight. The recommended maximum storage life is 2 years when stored under normal conditions.
Application
- Widely used as an ultra-fast accelerator for natural rubber (NR) and synthetic rubber such as SBR, NBR, EPDM and IR.
- Can be used as a primary accelerator or as a secondary accelerator together with thiazole and sulfenamide accelerators (MBT, MBTS, CBS, TBBS) to improve curing efficiency.
- Functions as an effective sulfur donor, enabling low-sulfur or sulfur-free vulcanization systems with excellent heat aging resistance.
- Suitable for manufacturing tires, tubes, conveyor belts, V-belts, hoses, cables, rubber sheets, seals and molded rubber products.
- Commonly used in the production of industrial rubber goods, automotive rubber parts and mechanical rubber components.
- Also applied in latex products such as gloves, balloons and dipped rubber products
