Vulcanization Accelerator Usage Methods
Vulcanization accelerators are among the most commonly used accelerators in rubber production. Common examples include MBT, MBTS, and CBS. The dosage of vulcanization accelerators is generally 0.3% to 1.0% of the rubber weight, but the specific dosage should be adjusted according to actual conditions. It should be added evenly and mixed thoroughly with the rubber.
Reinforcing Agent Usage Methods
Reinforcing agents are chemicals that enhance the properties of rubber. Common examples include vulcanized phenolic resins and cellulose. The dosage of reinforcing agents is adjusted according to actual needs, generally in small amounts, typically 0.1% to 0.2% of the rubber weight.
Antioxidant Usage Methods
Antioxidants are chemicals that prevent rubber from aging. Common examples include 4010NA and 4020. The dosage of antioxidants is generally 0.5% to 1.0% of the rubber weight. It should be added evenly and mixed thoroughly with the rubber.
Application of Softeners
Softeners are chemicals that increase the flexibility of rubber. Common examples include DOA and DOP. The amount of softener used is generally 5% to 10% of the rubber's weight.
Application of Adhesives
Adhesives are chemicals that improve the adhesion of rubber to other materials. Common examples include EPDM. The amount of adhesive used is generally 0.5% to 1.0% of the rubber's weight.
